Susan Taylor
Susan has spent 20 years of her professional career partnered with Generon on leadership development and project management. Dividing her time in two capacities, as Managing Director, Susan is accountable for the daily operations of the firm assuring a level of operational excellence internally. Externally, Susan acts as project manager, executive coach, and group facilitator for Generon’s client engagements.
Susan has managed Generon’s Wilderness Retreat Business since 2003. She co-developed and leads the firm’s Dialogue Retreats, webinars and training programs. Providing safe and impactful Retreat experiences for leaders of all types is a love and passion. Susan has organized and led retreats for companies including Shell Oil Company, Royal Dutch Shell, Synergos, EnPro Industries and Johnson and Johnson as well as for some of Generon’s social projects, including the Sustainable Food Lab and the National Great Plains Foundation. Susan holds the perspective that Nature and Dialogue are both powerful vehicles for growth, development and renewal. Facilitating these retreats tie to her role as executive coach.
Susan received her facilitation certification through Interaction Associates. She is a certified through the Coach Training Alliance. Her expertise in executive coaching is routinely applied as executives shift their worldview or stage of development.
Susan holds degrees in Business and Marketing and is an accredited Psychotherapist. She is also certified in Qigong, Nature Awareness, and breathing meditation. Aligning with her values to foster human potential through the cultivation of compassion and collaboration, Susan teaches executives the practice of mindfulness and self-management as part of Generon’s executive development programs.
Susan has two daughters, Carolanne (21) and Erin (18) and resides in Hilton Head Island, SC.
